Business Broker Skill Set Richard Brings to the Table
Richard graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 1994 with a BFA in Art & Art History and began his professional career in the midst of the digital disruption of the photography industry when film was migrating to digital. Richard spent the early part of his career mastering the new digital design technologies while speaking and educating the industry to these changes on behalf of Kodak and Fuji Film.
Richard actively consults marketing and design and has spent over twenty-five years advising scores of businesses on their marketing and brand growth strategies. Richard has spent the past seventeen years leading the creative direction as the Creative Director for Gordmans, overseeing multi-media campaign and content development and outcomes.
Richard brings a keen eye on user experience and brand strategy and assists businesses preparing to sell with a strong advisory voice to guide their business presentation and overall marketability. His background in business and as a change agent across multiple industries provides a calm and steady hand; which can confidentially guide buyers and sellers through the complexity of transferring business ownership, while providing exceptional marketing advice.
Richard strongly believes that referrals are the best complement anyone working in business can receive; this belief drives him to work diligently on behalf/of his clients every day.
When not helping to buy and sell businesses, Richard can be found at Woodcliff Lakes or on the golf course, two of his favorite activities. Richard also enjoys spending time with his family. He and wife, Rhonda, were married in 1995 and have two children, a daughter and a son.
